I think it can be helpful for us who have grown up inside to view through the new eyes of an “outsider.”

I’ve heard culture described as water to a fish, it’s so all-surrounding and encompassing, that it almost doesn’t exist. Only when the fish is removed from water is it acutely aware of its existence.

So it is helpful to point out the presence of water, you’ve done it powerfully and tastefully.
