Thank you Joe! I felt the same. . .this seemed compact, but somehow worked this time. I feel like other Rilke poems I lose something if the words compress too much.

There is so much goodness in Rilke’s poetry - imagery, rhyme, repetition as wordplay. . .it’s been a fun project as the potential for exploring is never ending.

I love the visual art concept. . .I feel like my brain works so hard when translating, yet there is an element of trying to empty it completely so that the words can reveal themselves.
